The Scope policy wording is built for construction exposures, delivering comprehensive cover across a range of projects, with optional extensions to adjust cover as needed.

COVERAGE INCLUDES:
  • Third Party Pollution Liability:
    Cover for claims arising from pollution conditions causing bodily injury, property damage, clean-up costs and nuisance.

  • Environmental Damage Liability:
    Cover for costs required by a competent authority, including investigation and assessment, remediation and restoration, and compliance with environmental orders.

  • First Party Pollution Response Costs:
    Reimbursement for costs incurred to contain and mitigate pollution events, enabling a rapid response to minimise impact.

  • Reputational Response Costs:
    Support following a pollution incident, including crisis management, media and stakeholder engagement, and reputation protection.

  • Natural Resource & Biodiversity Damage:
    Cover for liability relating to damage to ecosystems, habitats and biodiversity, including restoration or replacement of natural resources and compliance with environmental legislation.

  • Policies can be dialled up or down with the use of our Optional Extension wordings. Discuss your client's needs with one of our underwriting specialists to build a policy as unique as each project.

    Includes a broader definition of parties insured Optional cover for claims arising from microbial matter resulting in bodily injury or property damage.
